On Sunday, October 18, we will celebrate the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick at the 11:00 Mass. Anyone who is suffering from a serious or chronic illness or physical impairment is invited to receive this sacrament. We ask those who would like to be anointed to sit at the end of a pew.

Bishop Serratelli will be the main celebrant at Mass at St. Mary’s Church, Denville on Sunday Nov. 8 at 4pm. Arrangements may be made by contacting the parish office and will be accepted through Mon., Oct. 26. Info will be sent from the Office of Family Life once your registration has been processed. The 2015 CROP Walk is on Sunday, October 25th. Registration will be at 1:00 pm in St. Joseph’s Church Hall in Lincoln Park on Comly Road. The walk begins at 1:30 pm. Please consider participating in this enjoyable event. Signing up for the walk, sponsoring walkers or making donations will start October 17th and 18th in the narthex of the church after all Masses.

1st Reconciliation Summer and Winter Programs – Save the date, Reconciliation Retreat Day - Sat. 10/17, 9:30am-12noon. A parent and the child need to attend. From The Father English Food Pantry Thank you to all who donated food to the Catholic Charities-Fr. English Food Pantry on Sept. 27th. The food pantry had to turn away 40 families a few weeks ago, but last week they were able to meet the need, in part because of the large amount of food collected at OLM. The next 4Get-Me-Not Sunday is October 25th. Your donations truly meet a desperate need.

CANCELLED: Kinnelon High School on Friday, October 9th at 7:00pm for the Several Sources Women's Shelter. Goodwill offering will be collected. Based on the true story of the creation of the shelter by Kathy Difiore. Ms. Difiore will be available to answer any questions after the movie.

My family and I would like to thank all of you who offered prayers, sent Mass cards, called, visited or attended the funeral for our mother, Ann Lambro. Your thoughtfulness was appreciated. My mother had a happy and long life; and her passing was painless and peaceful. This is such a blessing from God and one I believe we all yearn for.
