2016 R.I.S.E.

Thank you very much for your financial support of this year’s RISE mission trip. Seventeen teens & five adults from Kinnelon traveled to Friendship, NY. Some of the work was to replace a roof for a family of 6, replace windows for an elderly couple and widen a doorway for a single man confined to a wheelchair who hadn’t left his home in 5 years! When he rode down the ramp to get his mail for the first time by himself, neighbors and teens/staff applauded him. It validated everything that RISE stands for. The generosity of OLM and lots of prayers made this year’s trip possible. In only 7 days, countless lives were changed forever, including ours.
