There are many ministries in the parish looking for volunteers. If you can’t find one or you have an idea for a new one, please talk to Fr. Lukasz or Msgr. Thank you.
The next project is repairs to the roof of the school. You will see roofers making much necessary repairs since the winter ice did quite a bit of damage to the old roof.

Those who volunteered to cook and whose last names begin with I through Z (and anyone else who can cook), please pick up your pan with the recipe and instructions today after Mass. We are in need of catechists for our Confirmation Program that starts this fall. The teens meet one Sunday per month between October and May. We will provide you with all the necessary information. All you need is a love of God, a willingness to share that love, a good sense of humor, and a gentle spirit and temperament to teach, guide and listen to our teens as they learn and grow in their faith and move forward toward full adult-hood in our church. If the Holy Spirit is tugging at your heart to get involved, please pray and think about this opportunity. You will be surprised that as a catechist, you will discover that prayer, liturgy and your own relationship with God will become more vibrant and meaningful! Please contact Grace Davin at 973-283-1212 if you are interested.
AA meets in several locations in Kinnelon throughout the week including 3 meetings at OLM on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 1pm to 2pm in the Ryan room of the Church.
Al Alvino, an usher at the 11am Mass, is turning 90 years young. He and his wife Charlotte would like to invite all parishioners to share in refreshments after the 11am Mass, next Sunday, August 23rd.
This annual event is scheduled for the Sunday after Labor Day, Sept. 13th. It begins with the 11am Mass under the tents on the rectory side of Miller Road. Pease park either in the Church or Chapel parking lot and walk to the picnic area. The elderly and disabled may be dropped off right at the site. Please sign up to give us a rough number of how many will be attending. Your ticket is a dessert which may be dropped off at the rectory garages before the 11am Mass. See you there.
