Everyone should feel welcome at Mass whether you have been coming for years or a new parishioner or even if you are late. Eucharistic ministers, lectors, clergy and ushers are in the narthex before Mass to greet newcomers and guests as well as answer any questions

Parents, you should have received a letter with your child’s admission to class slip. If you have not received these please contact the Religious Education office, [email protected]. Grades 1-5 - Classes begin on Sept. 25 and 26, Sunday and Monday. Sunday classes – students should attend 9am Mass with your family and then come over to the school for classes to begin at 10:15 and end at 11:30am. Monday classes run from 4:30-5:45pm. Grades 6-8, Sunday classes start on Oct. 2 from 6:30-8:30pm and Monday classes start Oct. 3, from 7-8:30pm. Catechists/Teachers: Catechist meeting dates are listed below. Meetings will be held in the school library. If you have received your teacher’s manual please bring it with you. Grades 6-8 Meeting. - Monday, Sept. 12, 7-8:30pm. Grades 1-5 meeting – Tuesday, Sept. 13, 7:15-8:30pm.

Fr. Henry is in California until August 25th, and Deacon Omar will be in Columbia until September 9th. Pray that Fr. Lukasz gets his papers so that he is able to visit with his parents in Poland.
Fr. Carroll, who is Dean of this area, is looking for a couple, or two people, to represent the parishes deanery on the Diocesan Pastoral Council. Not much time is required since there are only four meetings per year. If interested, or for more information, please call Fr. Carroll at 973-713-3746.
This Sunday is 4-Get-Me-Not weekend. Your generous response to the requirements of the Food Pantry this summer has been so appreciated. Still, the daily needs of the clients who depend on us continue. Please help meet them again with donations of non-perishable food this weekend.

This Mon., Aug. 15 is the Feast of the Assumption of Mary into Heaven. This year the feast day is not a holy day of obligation because it falls on a Monday. Mass will be offered at 8:15am in the Chapel.
