On December 11, over 160 gifts were picked up at OLM by the Fr. English Center truck. Thank you to all our parishioners who took tags, shopped and made Christmas happier for so many children and seniors. Another 140+ gifts were also donated by our parishioners to the Martin dePorres Center. We have the most generous parishioners ever! Merry Christmas & God Bless!
On behalf of Fr. Lukasz, Deacon Yohan and the entire staff, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year. As you celebrate the miracle of this special season, may your heart be filled with love, joy and peace. Msgr. Carroll
Thanksgiving weekend, Michael Pierce, our Music Director, told me about Karen Pinoci’s illness and because of it the union musicians would not be playing in the Christmas Concert. Michael was not about to concede and he asked for a little time to think about it. The committee made an unanimous decision to go full speed ahead with the concert, minus the symphony orchestra. It was a smashing success! Ralph and Betsy Ferrara sold more tickets than ever before! The Brass ensemble, the Jordan Piper Jazz Trio, the soloists and the Junior and Senior Choirs performed amazingly. It was as miraculous as the Miracle on 34th Street. As they say on Broadway, the show must go on and so it did, thanks to Michael Pierce and the committee!
