ALL MASSES & SERVICES ARE IN THE CHURCH Masses: 7am, 8:15am, 7:30pm. Ash Service Only: 4:30pm. For more information on Lenten Practices please refer to the 4th page of this week’s bulletin.

This is an opportunity for Catholic families to share resources with people around the world so that they might rise above poverty and provide for their families and communities through CRS (Catholic Relief Services). Please take home a box, fill it with cash and return it at the end of Lent. Thank you.

Daily Mass is at 8:15 am and 7:00 pm in the Chapel. Every Friday during Lent, Stations of the Cross will immediately follow the 7 pm Mass.

The 45th Annual Msgr. John R. Ryan Golf Outing is scheduled for Monday June 5 at Rockaway River Country Club. Mark your calendars and look for more info in the spring. If you are an eager beaver as a result of the wonderful weather we are experiencing, you can reserve your foursome NOW by calling George Casagrand at 973-632-0294.

If you would like to look more closely at Pope Francis' Encyclical on the environment during Lent, please contact Peggy Tana at 973-828-7265 or [email protected]. We will meet on Tuesday afternoons for the six weeks of Lent.

What a wonderful turnout! Women from our parish and beyond started Lent off with a day filled with reflection, prayer, and intellectual stimulation as well as a yummy soup lunch.

The OLM Ladies Guild is collecting gently used Communion Dresses, Veils and Suits for the children of Catholic Community and Family Services in Paterson. If you have a dress or suit please consider donating it to help a family in need. If you could have the garment dry cleaned we would appreciate it. Be Rich In Good Works If you received a final request from our Bishop asking for your support of the fall 2016 Bishop’s Annual Appeal, please respond as your means permit. The Appeal is essential to the work of the Church in reaching out to those in great need who come to our Catholic Charities agencies. Thanks to our parishioners who have donated non perishable foods to the Fr. English Food Pantry. Your generosity helps to feed many of the working poor families in Paterson. Next weekend February 25/26th is 4GetMeNot weekend and will be accepting donations to help with the continuing need.

Thank you to all the volunteers who helped to serve at Eva’s Kitchen on Saturday, February 4: Tom Black, Mary Smith, Stefania Masi, Kenny Mertz, Lynn Drazin, Mariline and Lino Tavares, Mother of Mariline Tavares, Eileen Donnelly, and Pat Brinks. A special call out to Lino Tavares for generously giving the coat off his back to one of the homeless guests at Eva’s who was outside shivering in the frigid temperatures on Saturday. Also, thank you to all the volunteers who cooked the chicken casseroles which fed approximately 180 homeless guests at Eva’s. Thank you, Kathy and Joe Gravino

Msgr. Carroll needs two couples who would be willing to help out with 30 couples from the Diocese of Paterson with “God’s Plan”. You would help with registration, breakfast and lunch and generally be available to give directions to lavatories, and other facilities from 9am to 3pm on Saturday, March 4th. ON SALE THIS WEEKEND - The youth of RISE are selling chocolates for $3 ea or 2 for $5 per package. Proceeds will defray trip costs of the participants for their mission travel in July to help fix homes of those in need in NY State. Show your love by purchasing Valentine pops and chocolate dipped pretzels enjoy a yummy treat while supporting a great cause!
