The words mean “where are you going”. This is a retreat for teens and young men ages 15 to 25. It is conducted by priests, deacons and seminarians of the Diocese of Paterson. It consists of recreation, fellowship, prayer and discussion to help them explore their vocation in life. It will run from June 27 – 29 at the Sacred Heart Spirituality Center in Newton, NJ. It is FREE. To sign up visit the parish website www.olmchurch.org or speak to one of the priests. Whether you want to be a priest or not, it will help young men to become better Christians.
We would like to thank all of our CCD Students, Confirmation Candidates, CYO Teams, Parishioners and Kinnelon High School Friends and Family for their generosity this Lenten season. Your gifts of food, non perishable items, gently used athletic shoes, athletic clothing, sports equipment, gift cards and monetary donations allowed us to help others this spring. The Catholic Charities Father English Center was overwhelmed by our donations and deeply appreciates all our parish does for them. The Passaic Neighborhood Center for Women was thankful for the donations of non perishables, baby formula, wipes, diapers and gift cards to Shop Rite, Home Depot and Staples. Most of all, through your kindness, we continue to help our local families and they are also so thankful for your gifts. Please continue to support the Caring Ministry - we welcome gift cards and monetary donations throughout the year. We work quietly in our community to assist others that sometimes are in need of a little assistance. Your amazing thoughtfulness truly makes a difference to others. Please let us know if you'd like to help. Thank you, so much!

Saturday, May 13, 2017 is the 100th anniversary of the apparitions of our Blessed Mother at Fatima to Lucia and her two cousins Jacinta and Francisco. Our Lady asked us to find in her heart the door to Christ. This weekend the Bishop has asked all parishioners of the diocese to pray a prayer of consecration to her Immaculate Heart.
Did you know that Heaven sent Our Blessed Mother with a “Peace Plan”? Sister Lucia in her documentation of the Fatima Apparitions revealed Our Lady’s words spoken on July 13, 1917. “God wishes to establish in the world a devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If what I say is done, there will be peace in the world and my Immaculate Heart will triumph.” On this Mother’s Day weekend will you resolve to follow your Mother Mary’s request and join us on 1st Saturday, June 3rd for 8:15am Mass and the recitation of the Holy Rosary. Let us invoke Heaven’s Plan for Peace with the Five First Saturday Devotion, and Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart will triumph!

The Catholic Charities Fr. English Food Pantry is grateful for the generous donations of non-perishable food from our parishioners each month. We would like to suggest that regular size packages of food are more helpful because of limited shelf space and regular size packages can be distributed to a greater number of families. If you buy the supersize, it cannot always be divided up. Thank you for your continued generosity!
