Over the next few weeks, you will be hearing about the upcoming Do It for Jesus Program at Our Lady of the Magnificat. This effort is very important as we move forward with the mission and vision of Our Lady of the Magnificat. We, as a parish family, have changed so many lives in our community! In order to continue our mission and ministries, we encourage all parishioners to spend time in prayer and discussion with your family reflecting on the work we do. We look forward to seeing all of our parishioners at Mass, especially during our special Commitment Weekend on February 16th and 17th. If you have any questions regarding the Do It for Jesus Program, please feel free to contact the parish office.

WOMEN’S DAY OF REFLECTION Save the date – March 9, 2019, Saturday 9:30-1:30 Come join us! Bring $10 and a can of soup donation! A light breakfast and a soup lunch will be served. Our speaker is Judy Schaivo, who has an MA from Seton Hall Univ. and an MS in Spirituality and Spiritual Direction from Fordham. We look forward to the women of our parish and beyond joining us for this enhancement to the Lenten journey. Email reled@olmchurch.org with any questions.
Donations slow down after the holidays, hunger does not. The shelves are noticeably empty of pancake syrup, juices, cold cereal and oatmeal, and are in dire need of canned meat and fish. Please help by leaving donations of non perishable food in the vestibule of the Church next weekend.
With our heartfelt gratitude to the Knights of Columbus, OLM Priests, Parishioners and friends for their generous support of Mike’s benefit breakfast in November, which was a wonderful success! There are so many angels around. We appreciate and want to thank each of you for being our angels of kindness and generosity. Fondly, the Dillon Family

Books “The Biggest Lie in the History of Christianity” by Matthew Kelly were given to the parishioners as a small Christmas present. If you did not receive one or would like another copy, take one from the table in the Narthex.
We would also like to report on the Christmas Fund which we established last year to help some of our families. Twenty-seven parishioners donated $6,200 which enabled us to help fourteen (14) families with many children, have a Merry Christmas. We extend a sincere “thank you” to all who contributed to this fund.
We are missing a microphone and stand from the church music setup. Did anyone borrow it or move it? If so, please call the rectory and let us know so we can get it back…..one less microphone means you are all missing some of the wonderful music that Michael and his team delivers each week. Thanks!
If your phone number, email address or any other contact information has changed, don’t forget to update us by emailing us at secy@olmchurch.org. Thank you!
The Knights of Columbus will sponsor a free throw contest at 3pm for boys and girls ages 9 to 14. Sign-up forms are in the narthex. For more information please call Anthony DePalma at 973-886-8942 or njappraiser@optonline.net
