A representative from Several Sources, prolife shelters for mothers who seek to give God’s blessed gift of life to their children, will speak this weekend. Jesus said of children, “Their angels do behold the Face of God in heaven daily.” Can you be a child’s earthly Guardian Angel? Your generosity can help save the life of a child. Please assist with their work.
4Get Me Not weekend is THIS week Sept. 28 & 29. The Fr. English Food Pantry has been filled with women, children and elderly in dire need of the food they can receive once a month. Please donate non-perishable food items. God Bless!
The new school year, church ministries and group activities are underway. As you would at home, PLEASE be considerate in leaving any school, church or parish house rooms you use, picked up from liter, clean and in the same condition (or better) than you found it. Also, please return furniture configurations back to the way it was when you entered. Be mindful that we rent the school building to Sheperd School and your diligence to ensure it is ready for their use especially on weekday mornings is greatly appreciated.

OLM is excited to announce a new 6 PM Mass. All parishioners are welcomed to attend this contemporary music type of liturgy with our teenagers taking on some of the liturgical roles.
A sincere thank you to everyone who helped to make last weekend’s Parish Picnic a true community event! A host of individuals and groups worked tirelessly behind the scenes for this event including Co-Chairs Pat Cappucci and Mike Pistorio, and the Parish staff especially Fernando Gomez. The picnic was a joy to experience. I am truly grateful to all from concelebrants Fr. Lukasz, Fr. Henry and Msgr. Carroll, to the music provided by Michael Pierce, our choirs and outside musicians, all the Knights for preparing and serving delicious food, Art Anastasia for the ice cream and the confirmation students who helped with the bouncy houses. Bravo! Fr. Steve
VIVERE CHRISTUS AWARD Sun., Sept. 8th during a Mass of Appreciation at St. John’s Cathedral in Paterson, Bishop Serratelli presented Julie and Dave Puccia with this honor in recognition of their selfless giving and work and their faithful dedication to the mission of Christ. Responsibilities include coordinating, scheduling and soliciting ushers for weekend Masses, holidays and other special events; communication to ushers with new procedures; and recruiting and training of new ushers. If interested, please call the Parish Office. Thank you, Bob, for your dedication and leadership in directing the ushers. You have been a reflection of God’s welcoming arms to all parishioners each weekend at Masses. Your commitment to OLM community is tremendous. May God bless you and your family.
The Children’s Liturgy at 9am Mass is ON HOLD until further notice. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Katy Schrope for her dedication to this ministry for our children.
