A SPECIAL Christmas fund has been established to assist parishioners who do not have the discretionary income to purchase gifts for their children at Christmas. Last year, seventeen parishioners donated $5,850 which enabled us to help seventeen families and organizations have a Merry Christmas. If you would like to contribute to this fund please make checks payable to OLM and note “Christmas Fund”. Either mail/drop them at the Parish office or give them to Fr. Steve. This fund is in addition to the Ladies Guild & Caring Ministry Giving Trees. A generous parishioner has co volunteered to “match” up to $2,500 of what is collected by the Parish. In addition, he has challenged other parishioners to join in the matching gift portion of the program. If you are interested in matching, please call George in the office at 973-838-6838 ext. 102. Your prayerful consideration of both opportunities is greatly appreciated. God Bless!

Join the VNA Time to Care program and make phone calls to those who are in need of a comforting voice. This is a great way to be involved in the community at this time of self-quarantine. A brief training will be provided and a suggested script is available. Both student and adult volunteers are accepted! If you have questions, or would like more information on how you can safely serve the homebound in your community, please reach out to Rachel Enderle, Development Coordinator, at 973-451-4128 or renderle@vnannj.org.
