Hello my Beloved, I am finally back! Some of you noticed I was not here over the last four months. In February, I went to visit my family in Poland. I was supposed to be back on March 1st, but as all of you know what has happened around the world, so my flight was cancelled. Because of this I had almost four months vacation at home with my family. It was great to see all of them after three years of not being able to travel back home. My mom was happy not only because I came home, but also because of the virus everything was closed, so I had no opportunity to go anywhere, as I usually do when I am in Poland, traveling to another country or another place in Poland. So I spent all four month at home with mom. Anyway, I had a great time with my parents, my brother, sister-in-law and my nephews. While I was there I was praying for our parish and for every one of you every single day. I am so sorry that after such a long break I am not able to welcome you personally. Hopefully this difficult time is going to finish soon. This Friday, I have left my position at OLM and I am taking on the role of Spiritual Director at Saints Cyril and Methodius Seminary in Orchard Lake, MI. Please keep me in your prayers, as I will keep all of you in my prayers. Yours in Christ, Fr. Lukasz
Catholics have always honored the Blessed Virgin Mary especially on the first Saturday by praying the rosary. Our Blessed Mother is listening and praying that our Lord will deliver us from every evil.
The 2020 Msgr. John J. Carroll Scholarships given by the OLM Knights of Columbus Council 14493 was awarded to Alyssa Benzija and Sophia Schwab. Alyssa graduated Kinnelon High School and will continue her education at the University of Scranton. Sophia graduated Villa Walsh Academy and will continue her education at Cornell University. We wish them both continued success in all of their future endeavors.
God our Father, in your wisdom and love you made all things. Bless these men, that they may be strengthened as Catholic fathers. Let the example of their faith and love shine forth. Grant that we, their sons and daughters, may honor them always with a spirit of profound respect.
