Consider making your weekly contributions to OLM charitable donations through a QCD - Qualified Charitable Distribution. Contributions can be counted toward satisfying your required minimum distributions (RMDs) for the year. A QCD excludes the amount donated from taxable income, which is unlike regular withdrawals from an IRA. Call George for more information.

A SPECIAL Christmas fund has been established to assist parishioners who do not have the discretionary income to purchase gifts for their children at Christmas. Last year, twenty two parishioners donated $10,605 which enabled us to help sixteen families and organizations have a Merry Christmas. Since inception in 2017 this fund has raised and contributed over $25,000 to those in need. If you would like to contribute please make checks payable to OLM and note “Christmas Fund”. Either mail/drop them at the Parish office. This effort is in addition to the Ladies Guild & Caring Ministry Giving Trees. A generous parishioner has volunteered to “match” up to $3,000 of what is collected by the parish. In addition, he has challenged other parishioners to join in the matching gift portion of the program. If you are interested in matching, please call George in the office at 973-838-6838. God Bless!
