This year Bishop Barron's video series, “The Creed,” will be used to orient, inform and energize the discussions. Especially at this time, as we welcome the Christ Child into our hearts, may we be thankful for the gift of life. The Paterson diocese will once again participate in the March for Life in Washington, D.C., on January 20, 2023. This year, Bishop Kevin Sweeney will be the main celebrant at a concelebrated Mass in Washington at noon at St. Peter’s Church. After Mass we will join in the march line. The goal of the day is prayer and to be a voice for the unborn as we join together in Washington. Those interested in participating should contact the Respect Life Office, or Fr. The Rite to Life Committee will be meeting on Wednesday, December 21st in the Chapel at 7:00 PM. The Pro-Life Ministry affirms the sacredness of life from the moment of conception to natural death. His Excellency, Bishop Kevin Sweeney appointed Father Babu Thelappilly the administrator of Our Lady of Fatima Parish, Highland Lakes effective December 30th, 2022. Let us keep him in our prayers.
Sincere thanks to all parishioners for their support. The group collected $1746. and were happy to report that in cooperation with Montville UNICO delivered 340 turkeys. With additional funds they also purchased gift cards to be spent on family food necessities. A special thanks to The Starkey’s who helped coordinate delivery to Father English Center.
