On Memorial Day, we honor the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice. On this day, let us remember our heros and celebrate the blessings we have been given as Americans.

On Monday, May 30, our nation observes Memorial Day. The Kinnelon Borough will hold its Annual Memorial Day ceremony on Monday, May 30th at 10:00 AM on the Borough Hall grounds. Music will be provided by Michael Pierce and the members of the OLM Choir. Join us for this significant annual tradition.

FIRST FRIDAY ADORATION – June 3rd, 2022 8:15am Mass will be followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament ending with Benediction at 5pm. FIRST SATURDAY ROSARY – June 4th, 2022 8:15am Mass will be followed by praying the rosary as Our Lady requested for the conversion of Russia.

The diocese has permanently moved the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord to the 7th Sunday of Easter beginning this year. It will be on May 29th.

A special thank to Tom Black for the many hours spent watering all of the Easter flowers on the altar.

The rising cost of food has increased the struggle of the Fr. English Food Pantry to meet the needs of the poor families in Paterson. Please keep donations of non perishable food going. Next week is 4Get Me Not Sunday and food donations and monetary donations will be welcome.

June 12th Breakfast fundraiser for Ukraine in auditorium. All are welcome! A goodwill donation will be gratefully accepted at the door. OLM Knights will match donations up to $5,000 for this charity breakfast.

The Kinnelon Historical Society is looking for photos of the chapel during construction. If you have any photos in your personal archives, please contact George at 973-838-6838 - ext. 102. All photos will be returned .

Please drop off gardening supplies (gift cards, compost, top soil, shovels, rakes, tomato cages, garden power tools etc.), into brown bin at the top of the driveway, 58 S. Glen Rd. by May 20th. For info or pick up, please call Christian – 973-800-8019.

Dear Lord, Bless all mothers, grandmothers and all who care for children on earth and in heaven. Let them know how much they are loved and appreciated today and everyday. Amen.

The Cornerstone team will host Chapel Chats with Fr. Steve. The talks are open to everyone and will include an opening prayer, a short talk, followed by question and answer time and a final blessing. Someone with an affiliation with the parish (parishioner, staff, etc.) had their address book hacked. The hackers have been using the email addresses and, phone numbers, to impersonate Fr. Steve and scam others in that address book. Don’t respond to any of these emails/text. To protect yourself, please change your email password, and delete any emails/text. No one from the Parish will be sending anything requesting favors.
