Congratulations Fr. Steve on the 34th Anniversary of your Priestly Ordination on July 8th. Thank you for your many years of service to God and his people. We pray that God will continue to bless and strengthen you as you continue in the ministry entrusted to you. And, may God's goodness and kindness be with you on this special day and for many years to come
Dear OLM Family, First and foremost, we would like to thank you for everything you’ve done for our family. Your generosity is unsurpassable and your kindness has touched us deeply. Your support as we navigate the aftermath of our house fire, has given us hope and confidence. Our immense gratitude makes this decision to step down as cantors at the 5:00pm Mass especially difficult. We owe you a debt that can’t ever truly be repaid – but we’re making it our life mission to find ways to pay it forward. We’re starting that mission at home; dedicating as much time to our family as possible – and that requires flexibility on the weekends that we haven’t had in nearly 30 years. Currently, every available minute we do have is being consumed in the recovery from the house fire. Meanwhile, we still have our “regular” obligations to fulfill. We’ve decided to step away from cantoring and some other avocational pursuits to focus on our kids in these years before they leave the nest. You have become an extension of our family, and it pains us to leave. We may see you again, when Michael needs substitute cantors. So, this is not goodbye…it’s until we meet again. God bless You! Jamie and Julie Gulisano

For 28 years, Jamie and Julie Guilisano have served as music ministers for the Saturday, 5:00 pm Mass at Our Lady of the Magnificat Parish. Over the years, we have watched them raise their family of five children, and despite their busy personal lives, they remained faithful to their ministry at OLM. It is with tremendous gratitude, yet with a heavy heart that Jamie and Julie have decided to step down and feel it is an important time for them to focus on their family, and other parts of their lives. Jamie and Julie are especially grateful to all the OLM parishioners who have donated and supported them especially during their recent tragedy which resulted in the loss of their home. OLM is most thankful to Jamie and Julie and they will certainly be tremendously missed! God Bless the Guilisano family.

This is a challenging experience as it involves a significant physical effort as you walk through forests and along busy roads for many miles each day for a total of approximately 71 miles. Your rewards will be intangible but priceless: an opportunity to enjoy nature, meditate, search for answers, and challenge your limits. At the end of your journey relax on an excursion by coach to Finisterre and Muxia and a guided tour of Santiago de Compostela.
