As we begin this New Year, let us give thanks for all we hold dear; our health, our family and our friends. Let us live each day in the most loving ways, the God-conscious way. Pope Francis invites everyone to participate in the grace-filled Jubilee “Year of Hope” which opens in Rome on December 24, 2024 and in every diocese in the world on December 29, Feast of the Holy Family. On 12/29, in the spirit of the Jubilee and to gain the Jubilee indulgence, Bishop Kevin Sweeney will lead a short pilgrimage starting at 3pm from the Fr. English Center to the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist before celebrating the Opening Jubilee Mass. We hope many will join this first Jubilee event! You may also simply attend the Mass if you cannot make the walk.

Dear Parishioners, thank you for your most generous support of the 2024 Giving Tree Program. We donated 185 gift cards (target 150) and a generous parishioner also donated 13 beautifully hand knitted hat and scarf sets. FIRST FRIDAY ADORATION – January 3, 2025 8:15am Mass followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament ending with Benediction at 5pm. FIRST SATURDAY ROSARY – January 4, 2025 8:15am Mass will be followed by praying the Living Rosary.

The OLM Christmas Concert committee wants to send our warmest gratitude to all of the parishioners and sponsors who came out to celebrate the Christmas Concert. It was such a wonderful evening that could not have been achieved without our incredible community that never ceases to amaze. May God bless you all and we wish everyone a joyous Christmas.

Today, we light the pink candle on the Advent wreath. A special blessing of new parents will be offered. If you are expecting or adopting a child, please come forward for this blessing and presentation of a symbolic pink flower.

Thank you to all who contributed to the Special Christmas Fund again this year, with particular thanks to our matching donor. We collected over $11,000 for various local needs during this Christmas Season!

Please join us on Wednesday, December 18th in the Chapel, to pray a Rosary for Life, immediately following the 8:15 am Mass. This is a great opportunity to spend time with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Call Joe at 201-274-6688 for more info.

The OLM Ladies Guild sends a warm thank you to everyone who participated in the Wreath Sale and the Giving Tree Program. Both were very successful and your generosity in the fundraisers was tremendous. Thank you for your continued support in helping those less fortunate.

BREAKFAST WITH SANTA AND MRS. CLAUS Thank you to the Knights of Columbus and especially Mr. and Mrs. Claus for a wonderful time at the Breakfast this past weekend! A wonderful time was had by all and worthy causes will benefit from the proceeds! Thank you to all who attended.
